Let me start by saying I am probably one of the MOST responsible pet owners you will find. I am NOT getting a yorkie puppy tomorrow I am researching it first. I know that some of you will give me good advice as I have been reading the posts on and off for the 2 weeks that I had Cheeky in my home and the week that she has been gone. I know that Max though he is a great dog is VERY scared of small dogs ( cannot figure out why but I have noticed this since cheeky was here) I have discussed it with my hubby and he has agreed that when in the future our dog is no longer here and I am ready for a new one ( as I know I will be one day) I can have a yorkie. That gives me a good 15 16 years to get as much knowledge as I can possibly get about Yorkies. I want to become the Webster's Dictionary of Yorkies. Thanks for everyone who knows and understands what is going on with her and are supporting my decision. It was not easy by any means putting her in the van to take her away from me was the hardest thing I have done since I had my little pug put down four years ago.
Also to clarify I have talked to my husband in great detail about the future of a puppy in our house and he has agreed to me having the yorkie I have dreamt of since I first saw one over 10 years ago.

Again... I have never EVER jumped into owning a dog and I certainly do not intend to jump into it now. I was just seeking information... Doctors have to have 12 years of education dog owners should have to have some sort of education before owning any dog. Cheeky taught me I know almost nothing about Yorkies... I know they are adorable and sweet and soft and loving but aside from that I had to contact a vet before I knew they have teeth issues... I still do not know what Livershunt is but I know it is bad and Yorkies can have it. I plan on learning all this stuff and was asking for the Yorkie community to help me.

Finally my thanks to each and every one of you who understood and shame on you others for assuming instead of clarifying... If you have questions feel free to ask me PM's go straight to my email. So do responses to the forums I forget to turn those off.
