I would have some nutrical on hand just in case she becomes hypoglycemic (or karo syrup would be fine too). As long as she is eating okay..at least a little ever so often throughout the day, her blood glucose levels should be fine. If she isn't eating and starts to look hypoglycemic then you can rub a little nutrical or karo on her gums...but then it's important you get the puppy to actually eat something too. Eating is the best thing to keep blood glucose levels normal...nutrical should only be given if needed
