When my sister was getting her Maltese puppy I took Tuffy with us to the breeder's house and Tuffy didn't act like he remembered anything.. in fact he snarled at his father and basically wanted nothing to do with his mother.
I'm not sure whether he's anti-social or he genuinely didn't remember them at all. I did get him very young so it's possible he didn't have enough time to get attached to his parents.
