It happened to me. I gave my puppy Libby back to my mom (she was the breeder) to keep or sell when I moved to Ireland. My 10 year old is coming over soon, but I thought I would get a new puppy over here, so I could watch her grow up. Quarantine is six months. It was a very hard decision, and I miss her very much.
She is now in a great home, and a little boy is her best friend. Someone (not on here) wrote, "Oh, well i'm glad she has a forever home now." On the surface that seems nice, but it really is a dig. So, I know exactly where you are coming from!!!
