Great post, and by the response I can tell you started a lot of people thinking.
We can never judge what it is like to walk in someone elses shoes. We come on here for friendship, information, support, and when we are lucky, a few laughs. We all have been guilty at one time or another of saying something we regret having said. Lets hope your post helps us all remember to think before we post. The very person who's feelings we may hurt, might be the very one to be there for us when we need help the most.
I hope your friend gives us another chance; as you can tell by our responses, there are a lot of great people here.
