I am sure there is information about this out there, and I am going to check, but thought I would start a new thread for information faster.

My puppy did a gagging/choking thing tonight. She would gag, nothing would come up, she wandered around, played some, but still had these hicupping sounds. She would gag a bit later, then seem fine. I never saw anything come up.

I tried to look in her mouth, but she will not let me do this. She is breathing okay, has even slept some, but has me all nerved up.

We do not have any emergency vet services where I live without driving an hour or so. I forgot to ask the vet I take her to what to do in an emergency, but for some reason I don't think he is very helpful off hours. I need to find that out. I should switch to someone who has emergency help.

Anway...........what do you do when they are doing this gagging thing, but are breathing okay, moving around okay. If she doesn't seem all the way better tomorrow, I will call the vet.
