Suzy is ALWAYS getting confused with an Australian Silky. I live in Australia, so I guess people know about them more than Yorkies over here?
Out of everyone she has ever met, 2 people have said she's a yorkie - the rest have said something along the lines of "oooh what a gorgeous Australian Silky!" Grrr. She's a purebred Yorkie. The only people who have picked it up were a random man walking past with his young son yesterday who said "Oh look at the beautiful Yorkshire Terrier!" and a man who used to breed them. |
