A Silky Terrier is a different breed. They look very similar to a Yorkshire Terrier though. A Silky is a little bigger, can have more color variations besides the steel blue and tan of the yorkie, have longer ears, and a longer more wedge-shaped snout. There are other small differences too...just can't remember them off the top of my head.

both of the yorkies in your avitar look like yorkies to me.

The think about yorkies and silkies is a lot of people get them confused, and a lot of puppymills and backyard breeders intermix the two so a lot of our "yorkies" may in fact have silky in the lines somewhere. It can be really hard to tell sometimes
