We have a rescue centre just down the road (my hubby is in the RAF) who won't rehome to RAF personnel because RAF families have a 'reputation' for moving on and leaving pets behind! I think this is madness!

I agree it does happen sometimes, but there are alot of RAF families that would NOT do this and would give a good home to an animal in need.
