It should definitely be on an individual basis. We didn't plan to have children immediately (in fact, we can't) and obviously we aren't divorced, nor do we plan to be. BUT IF we did divorce, I assure you, there would be no question at all as to whether Marty or Maddie would be taken care of. In fact, there would probably have to be "visiting" arrangements made because we both love them so much. I just think it's VERY unfair to judge young married couples simply because they are young and married...
