She explained her policy to me as that she wouldn't sell to newlyweds because most couples plan to have children soon after they are married, and yorkies aren't really a "small children" breed. Also, what if the newlyweds don't work out and get a divorce soon after they are married?

I can understand the policy, although I think everyone should still be looked at on an individual basis.
