my entire life i said th same thing. animals over children. YEARS i stood up to this, told my mom to forget about grandchildren (other than fuzzy ones
) and no matter what i would NEVER have a baby...
then i met a man. one like ive never met before. one that i cannot live without. 3 years into it we are planning our first child. everyone from my past that i tell that i am geting married AND planning a family doesnt believe me because i always insisted on NEVER. but i really cannot wait to have a little person that takes after both of us. a piece of us that we can watch grow and mature (and will take care of us when we are old

my animals are part of my family, but you better believe that if my baby couldnt tolerate a pet, we would be rehoming. i woud explore every avenue possible before this option and if it came down to it i would try friends and family to rehome to first and then explore other options.

to get back on topic, it is unfortunate that someone would resort to making somone feel bad about a hard decision they have to make. there is so much hate in this world, why contribute to the problem. people are entitled to their own opinion, but why be mean about it?
