About where he should sleep. In the long run where would you like him to sleep. With you in bed? In the same room? In the other room? I would suggest crate training just for the bathroom and getting use to everything purpose. They get to feeling comfortable in their crate and they know that is their space. I would check on him every couple hours if he is a crier and if he is a quiet one I would take him out at least every four hours to go to the bathroom, get something to eat and just play.
