I try so hard to be a good person. I really do. Now I'm not saying I've been perfect, or that I haven't popped off at the mouth a few times to a few people, but for the most part, I have TRIED to be nice. I even sucked it up and did my best to be nice to Mike's EX when I had to deal with her.

I do not have the patience for my mother in law. I feel bad, because even though I still think she is crazy, she has really made an effort lately and been NICE. I mean she has called and asked me to go shopping with her, etc. Honestly for the first time in 8 yrs she is trying to have some sort of relationship with me and I am very grateful for that!

The problem is that she is very very simple. Its kind of like where I have 101 things going on in my head at any one time, she is having to put forth an effort just to handle one.

I feel bad because she is really making an effort, and I am trying really hard to make an effort too. I just feel like she is the ultimate test of my patience sometimes.
