I don't know much about the diet for pups with liver shunts...BUT I have heard of some people feeding their dogs the dehydrated fruits that are made for babies...My daughter loved the apples, they are tiny cubes and very light, not like dried fruit at all.... They also had other varieties, I don't remember because the apples were her favorite! Gerber makes them, and Walmart also has their own brand, they are with the baby food..... As far as I know, they were just plain APPLES...
