i use a gated off kitchen for dexter at night and when we are out and he does fine. he has never chewed anything in there (except his toys...and possibly the cat
) but we dont have any wires or anything like that exposed. that would definitely be a worry. I also work at home and take him most places with me when im out so he is never really left in the kitchen for too long except at night.
