My Mum uses old towels in the laundry (which the doggy door is built into) for the girls to piddle on when it's raining outside or they're too lazy to go out. She washes them in the washing machine with some dettol after all the human laundry has been done then runs a rinse cycle with some more dettol. It kills all the bacteria etc.
She used to do the exact same thing with my cloth nappies as I was horribly allergic to the store-bought ones. |
