I have a 17 month old male yorkie named Reece...he was a breeze to train to go outdoors..I never really thought of neutering him UNTIL at about 13 months he started marking ALL over the house...I was shocked and horrified..I couldnt keep up with all his marks and most I didnt know he did but could feel that he was wet down there so knew he had gone and had to search the house to find out where he did it...he progressively got worse and worse..he was marking more in the house than out of the house...I decided to try having him neutered...its been about a month and half..and he NEVER marks in the house now..only outside on every single tree or blade of grass that is too long lol...but no more belly bands no more leg lifting on corners..and I wish I had done it while he was young so I didnt have to go through it at all...its healthier and can lessen his chances of cancer too..another bonus!! His personality hasnt changed a bit!! Oh and wait until your guy starts humping..ugh..Reece dosent hump anything anymore...its been a great experience and I am sooooooooooooooo glad I did it!!
