Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I am a senior at the University of California, Davis. I am currently completing my English degree and corresponding honors program. I adore the Davis community and children of all ages.
I have child-care experience including 40 hours of hands-on teaching in a first grade classroom at Willett Elementary in Davis, as well as family and friends whom I have aided in child-care for children ranging in age from infant to 8 years. Currently, I am employed by four families in the Davis community and enjoy every minute of it.
I am not looking for just a babysitting job– I am looking for an opportunity to create a bond and to exercise my nurturing and energetic personality. I would describe myself as a determined and responsible individual, but I exercise a balance between duty and fun– taking care of children is an experience and an adventure.
I hope that I can help in any childcare need you may have. Pets are, generally, not an issue– I love all animals (my 2 year old yorkie is like a child to me!). I have my own transportation and would feel comfortable taking children to and from activities– either in my car or via bicycle, in good weather. I am available for weekly/biweekly or sporadic weekend jobs. Rates are negotiable depending on number of children.
