Welcome and congrats!!! Well, I dont have experience with a dog that old. I would assume that any animal is trainable with patience and persistance. Do you know how she was using the bathroom prior? If she was taken outside, than you need to create a schedule (around her eating/drinking) so that you can help her training. A dog has to use it within 45 min to an 1 hr after eating and drinking varies. Not sure of your schedule, but find something that will work for you both. If you cant take her out, then I would do the potty pads... Hope this helps and again welcome
