It was suggested to me to line the floor under Alley's pen (when he was younger) with a clear shower curtain liner. After the pen days, I cut the liner in 4 pieces and keep one under each of his potty pads now. He has 2 potty pads, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. That leaves me 2 extras for when I wash the others. It does help when he goes to tinkle and raises his leg towards the edge of the pad!
