Our local fairgrounds hosted a " strut Your Mutt" this Sat. We went, it was pretty interesting, they had a booth set up for Micro-chipping, A pet parade, search and rescue dog demonstration, and a drug sniffing dog demo. They also had contest for biggest, littlest, best outfit, longest tail, shortest tail, etc. Raffles, grab bags, dog cpr demo, and info on cremation.
They had a really good turnout, I saw about 6 Yorkies, of course Bailey had to greet them all, ( it's strange how he went right to all the Yorkies and didn't pay too much attention to other breeds, do they know they are related??)
Anyhow, it was nice,, would have been better if it had not been so HOT.. alot of the dogs were panting, so we only stayed about 2 hours.
Does anyone else have anything like this in your area?
