 The Roof Over My Head - a blessing
I live in a house that is approximately 115 yrs old. The roof is probably at least 30 yrs old. It's never really been a problem, but it probably should be replaced.
Today, out of the blue, one of my aunt's calls me up and tells me that when I've been away from my house she has sent someone out to look at my roof and she has decided that she wants to buy me a new roof!! What?? This is amazing - I've never said anything to anyone about my roof, hadn't even looked into having it replaced.
What a blessing this is. But I am shocked by aunt's generosity. She went on & on about how wonderful I am to my uncle and her - and all I could think is how little I have done for them ever. She has 2 adult children of her own, so her willingness to do this for me is incredible.
Today has truly been a day of blessings - several other little things have happened to me to today -- what a great day!! Praise God for the kindness of others. Please Lord, help to be a blessing to others I meet along the way.
