My girls did the same thing...but instead of the floor they ate a big hole in the plaster wall. Came home and there was a hole in the wall large enough for either of them to walk through. Emmy had a totally white mouth which led me to believe that she was the guilty one. I think they did it out of boredom. They did not like being confined to the kitchen, bath and sunroom. They wanted out and that is how they responded. I wanted to be mad at Emmy. But how could I? She is just too darn cute...especially with all the white on her mouth. Her face was saying, "not me, mommy. I would not eat your walls."
