Alfie is a nine year old Yorkshire Terrier who is looking for a new home because his owners felt they could no longer with his snappy behaviour.
Alfie is an intelligent dog, who will need a moderately active life with an owner who will keep him mentally stimulated and allow him to do things at his own pace. Unfortunately he hasn’t receive the necessary training and socialisation a dog needs and has learnt that by snapping, he gets his own way. He doesn't like strangers, if approached by someone he doesn't know he will lunge and snap. He will need to wear a muzzle on his daily off lead walks in the park.
Alfie loves his soft toys, he likes to throw them in the air, catch them mid fall and proceed to roll around on them before throwing them in the air again. He also loves his treats, after having one or two he then likes to bury the rest around the house to enjoy later – although he frequently forgets where he’s hid them. A loving cheeky little character who will be sure to keep his new owners on their toes.
Alfie is looking for an experienced owner, ideally someone who has owned a snappy dog before. Once a bond has been built he will be sure to repay their efforts ten fold. He cannot live with children and would need to be the only dog in the household
Alfie is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
