You shouldn't have to pay your deductible again this year. You just need to call your current insurance and have them send you something saying you've met your deductible with that insurance.
My mom just went through a similar situation where her work changed insurance in the middle of the year and that's what she did. There was a little lag time for her and she did have to pay some of her deductible but I think she'll get it back. Anyway, check in to it and hopefully you won't have to pay your deductible again this year. |
