My dog has epilepsy. She's not a yorkie, but a small dog of only 6 lbs. She takes phenobarbitol (sp) once a day (wrapped in cheese!). She does excellent on the meds. She still has a seizure once in a while, but they are not as bad, and a LOT less frequent.
She does the same thing, she gets real stiff and her head tilts back. She can tell when one is coming. She stays right by me, and will insist on me holding her. It took me a long time to catch on to this.
But now when she is persistent, I just hold her and wait for it!
