You picked him up so you were able to see the place he came from. Did it seem clean? Were the dogs well cared for?
I'm so glad you are taking him to a different vet. No way should the first one have put that baby on thyroid medication with out doing a thyroid panel. And if your puppy has a skin infection caused by a fungus, antibiotics can make it worse.
Make sure this vet does a skin scraping to rule out mange. |
