The correct look for a yorkie????? As far as a show dog, it is a matter of preferance....What I look for is a well balanced dog.....I love leg (although, I prefer them not to look like they're on stilts)....measure the back from base of neck to base of tail....it should be the same measurement from the top of the shoulder to the ground. All should be within what is described in the standard.....the illustrated standard explains it much better than the text.

Years ago....they were much shorter leg than what is being produced now. I think compact would be more correct.

If you go to the Show Section/ don't know the title of the thread but, Tegamom1 started it....you'll see a pic of my Tahlulah and Charmer.....this is my preferance in what I'm looking for. By the way, other than structure, I'm a head hunter.....love those beautiful heads with alot of expression, along with attitude.
