I feed Lacy twice a day (she's three years old). I think 2-3 times is fine for an adult toy breed (I would consider your 10 month old an adult). For a 12 week old, I would feed 3-4 times per day. If your puppy tends to have problems with hypoglycemia, I'd feed 4-5 times a day
