I FINALLY stopped crying a few minutes ago...I've lost animals before...but not a Yorkie yet...
I CAN'T imagine what I'll feel like...they're my children...
I saw a puppy die for the first time the other day. The kennel where I help out had a shih tzu who gave birth to another puppy 12 HOURS after the first 3 were born!!! And she chewed the cord too short and damaged something inside the poor little boy (the breeder ALWAYS births EVERY puppy...but she had already given her the oxytocin 12 hours before...and went downstairs to feed all the other dogs!)...and he hung on through the next day...but he started losing color right about the time I got there...she did everything for him she possibly could have...but he passed...I couldn't take it at all...I cried for an hour!!!
