 Hoover
The hoover V5 is the best one on the market for cleanliness and ease of use.... rug doc is great... but a pain in the a&% to lug into and out of the house when you rent it. I have four kids and each have a dog and I would not be w/o my hoover steam cleaner!!!!!!! I add a little oxyclean to the fresh water part.
For in between cleanings I swear... swear by Spot shot. I keep at least 4 cans on hand. Get really good absorbant white towels too!
