I have been tossing around the idea of getting another yorkie for a few months now or even becoming a foster home. I only have one female just over a year old and she adores ALL other animals. My only concern is the same as yours.
If you are unsure about bringing her home ask if you can do a trail before you go all the way. If it doesn't work out at least you gave it a shot, and who know you just might be able to find her a wonderful home here on YT and keep a close eye on her!
