I took my Maltese Joey to the vet today for a blood work-up. He apparently has a pretty bad heart murmer and is anemic. I won't know until tomorrow what his bloodwork shows. He has had more than his share of illnesses in his life. We almost lost him when he was two due to an autoimmune disease. He gets chronic ear infections, and is allergic to just about everything. He is 9 now, and it seems as though his little body is slowly giving out. He was never even supposed to live this long because of his autoimmune disease. I just feel so sad and lost. I am not ready to let my little guy go yet.
