Hello everyone, I have a bit of a problem here. I have been feeding Charlie 2/3 of a cup of Nutro Ultra puppy food daily (1/3 in the morning, 1/3 at around 4PM) which has been great. He's almost a 11 months old now, so I switched to Nutro Ultra adult dog food BUT like a moron, I forgot that you're typically supposed to combine foods until they get used to the new stuff. Well, I threw away the remaining puppy food without thinking and just fed him all adult food for his last three meals. He's been really gassy (never was before) and after he goes poop on his pad (this is gross) he's moving it all around the kitchen leaving marks where ever it goes. I think because its not the same consistency. His poop is/was solid with the puppy food. Now its much softer and has a much stronger odor.

I feel bad, cause its my fault. Let me be clear about that. I cant believe that combining the foods escaped me, but it did. Now I'm wondering what to do. I was going to go buy a small bag of the puppy food to mix. Do you think I have to? Will the new food get better or acclimate to his system soon if I just keep giving it to him? Also, why would he be moving his poop around all over?!?!
