 Do Dogs go to Heaven?
I've noticed many of you are Christians and I just have to ask you...do you know if dogs go to heaven? I've searched through the bible on many occasions and just can't find any evidence that our pets go to heaven. My Chewy just turned 14 yesterday - so he's getting up in age and on Thanksgiving we had to take him to the hospital and found out he has kidney disease (in addition to periodontal disease). He's doing well now and you'd never know he had these diseases, but I feel like this is God's way of preparing me for the inevitable....afterall, he's been my baby and buddy for his whole life! I just don't know if I'll be able to handle it when it does happen. I just need to know that he'll go to heaven and I'll be able to see him again. I appreciate your insights... |
