I just took my "lil Marine" Precious to the vet for her third booster shots and she chewed the Doctor up, almost as bad as she does me lol, and the nurse she left alone. The doctor noticed my battle scars from playing with her and asked me if I was diabetic. I replied that I am, and he asked does she bite me all the time, but not others? I said why yes she does. She only tears into me and licks my wife like she was a salt lick or something. The doctor stated that my blood and skin can have a sweet taste to her hence the reason she chews on me. He said that he is diabetic as well, yet his nurse is not. I asked what could be done to prevent this as I love the puppy so much and love playing with her, to which he said to just tell her stop or no when she bites and stop playing with her. (Thats usually when she goes for my toes lol) But he said that unless I whip diabetes, that she will more than likely continue to eat on me...
