They will let you bring his bed if it is small enough to fit in their kennel as well as a t-shirt that has your scent on it. They just warned me that if it got soiled it would go in their laundry which I was fine with. They just use towels.
If you don't want him to have to use the cone collar, make sure you bring a onesie and or a baby diaper for him when you pick him up.
Make sure they do the pre-surgery blood work and that they have two people doing the surgery so someone is always monitoring his vitals and the anesthesia.
You sound prepared and he will be fine, don't worry. It's a lot harder on you than it is on him! |
