 My Yorkie is sick!!!!
I have a four month old male yorkie "enzo". I bought him about 2 1/2 weeks ago at a local pet store. I wanted a companion for my older yorkie "Chole". I brought him to the vet and he thought he might have kennel cough so he was on a 10 day of medicine which he finished. He went in to get his distemper shot and was sooo sick. They had to give him a shot of Benadryl and an IV. He seemed better but this past weekend he has been having little asthma like attacks. I brought him back to the vet today and went from 3 1/2 lbs to 3 pounds. The vet put him on a antibiotic for 10 days and I have to call to say how he is doing on Wednesday. The problem is I am worried Chloe is going to get sick and I am already in love with this little guy and I don't want him to get worse. Has anyone experienced this before???? My vet doesn't have a clue???? |
