I think those proteins are fine. You are still giving a good variety there. If you happen to ever come across other protein sources great, but the ones you listed are fine in themselves. I usually give Lacy rabbit and venison but she's gotten some chicken, turkey, and lamb recently too.

So far as veggies - dogs don't really need them but they don't necessarily hurt either. I feed Lacy pre-made and it has about 5% fruits and veggies in there. Every fruit and veggie was put in there for a particular reason according to Nature's Variety (blueberries & cranberries for antioxidants and urinary health, pumpkin seeds for fiber and vitamins, etc). I like to stay away from grains of course, but I don't see anything wrong with a small amount of fruits and veggies. I read on one site that about 5% of your dog's diet could be treats so I guess our 5% is the fruits and veggies in her food.
