I don't believe it's a new version of the standard Paint Shop Pro. This seems to be more of a photo program where as PSP is more of a graphics program overall. I've never heard of it and the reviews on Amazon there seem to be mixed. I think if you're doing photo editing, you're probably going to do fine with it.
