I had a male Bichon who tried to bite the steel head of the vacuum, brooms, mops etc. I would put him out in the backyard or when the weather was bad just use a baby gate to keep him out of where I was cleaning.
Maybe your hubby could take the pup on a walk while the hard cleaning happens. The story TatumsMom told was so horrid to read. It is really scary what these little ones can get into.
