Hello everyone. I live about 30 minutes north of Atlanta and 1 hour south of Chattanooga, TN. We have a 1 year old neutered male, Max, and are looking to add a rescue companion for him. We have filled out paperwork/application on two seperate rescue sites and are awaiting news, but I thought I'd also make my wishes known on here just in case.
We own our home in a nice subdivision north of Atlanta and have a fully fenced in backyard for occasional romps and family outings. My husband is retired, so the pup would never be left alone for more than a few minutes on an as-needed basis. Max has his own seat belt and accompanies on most short car excursions and he also travels with us. He sleeps in his crate at night and plays both inside and out during the day. He is a spoiled little prince and now we want a companion "princess" to play along with him.
We prefer: female, under 5 years of age, loving (no big behavioral problems). We do have a 10 year old son who gets along great with Max and knows how to handle himself around tiny dogs with no problem.
