I don't know which program you downloaded - THIS is what I've given many beginners to use and it's very very easy -
EASY PicResizer -
http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm go to this site - scroll down and DOWNLOAD PixResizer. It's a VERY small program - one interface - 2 clicks and you have new pictures.
You just open the program - CLick LOAD Picture - Depending on how big your pic is - usually 50% works or you can enter a size manually - and SAVE
