You are definitely NOT alone! HA
My sweet little butterball is 4lbs and acts like a rotti when the Vacuum comes out of the closet...she used to ride on top of my mop...
yep just sit there on top of it barking, growling and biting all while sliding across the floor on top of my mop!
She has also taught her maltese sister Kylie to do the same. I just shut them in the other room until I get done...this prevents the vacuum from falling on the crazy lil' things!
