Pixie is coming up to 6 months and is teething, she has lost a couple of bottom incisors (after a game of tug of war!) and i can see the top ones coming through just behind her baby teeth. I can also see the bottom canines starting to show on the inside of the baby ones. I really hope the baby teeth come out on their own as she's only little and the anaesthetic terrifies me! Does teething usually take longer the smaller the dog? and should i wait a bit longer to see how she goes before giving up and going to the vet? I'm so worried about this, my breeder told me a friend of hers lost 2 little ones having teeth pulled and her words are haunting me.
