I used to free feed and I think its a great way to feed BUT I have a big dog who gobbles it up if Im not watching lol...so now I feed 3 times a day..morning, noon and supper...now THEY gobble it up and I dont have to worry about my big dog eating it..they each get 1/4 cup at a time...although morning meals seem to be eaten the other two meals they dont usually eat everything in their bowls...they maintain a nice healthy wieght and seem satisfied..
