I have had people have to return puppies because their dog wouldn't accept the new puppy. But not many. My mom is thinking of getting a new maltese to add to her 2... and she is going through the same deal. When she was up here they both took to one of my males... Casper. I am thinking I may give him to her for Christmas because for both her girls to not growl and carry on at a new baby is very unusual. My dad is still saying no on the boy thing though so we will see. Maybe you can bring a visiting dog over and see how he reacts to your loving on another dog. |
