I am so sorry... first about the human baby... and second about lacey. It must not have been that bad if they just recommended the antibiotics and special food. Your best bet is to write down questions. When you get news like this your head just sort of buzzes and you forget what to ask... and have to keep calling and calling or wondering and wondering! No question is too dumb... read them write off a card and write down the answers... the vet will know you are scared but serious about your dog's health! Good luck...
