Hallee was like that, one night went to bed fine and woke up in the morning and she would hardly move. She would not respond to my voice or anything. When I sat her up I could have pushed her over with one finger. Her tongue was grayis. We rushed her to the vet and her blood sugar was way way too low. She was put on an IV. Thank goodness we got her there when we did or we could have lost her. We pay close attention at night and make sure both Hallee and Gracie eat before going to bed. We have not had any problems since. Sounds like your situation is different. Hope your little one gets better.
